About Us

Hunters Point is a small, deed restricted, gated subdivision located at the end of a peninsula along the northwest shores of Lake Conroe. We often refer to our neighborhood, located off of FM 1097, as the “Best Kept Secret on Lake Conroe.” The land was developed in 1979 and the first houses in the neighborhood were built soon after that. Many of our residents are original property owners who retired here after enjoying their weekend homes for many years. We also have many new residents who have discovered our charm and choice location, and why our original residents decided to make this neighborhood their permanent home.

Our community amenities include the beautiful Lake Conroe, views of the national forest, a private boat launch, a private gated pool, and a sports court with a tennis court, a pickleball court, and a half basketball court.

The Hunters Point POA Board of Directors meets quarterly, and the entire association meets annually in October and in the spring if needed. All residents are invited to our community luncheons following the general meetings, weather permitting. The goal of the HPPOA Board is to ensure that the current quality of life, natural beauty, safety, and property values of Hunters Point continues. We oversee the maintenance of the private roads, esplanades, gate, boat launch area, swimming pool and sports court, and handle all financial and legal matters and deed restriction enforcement for the association.

Our Architectural Control Committee volunteers are dedicated to maintaining the value and beauty of our neighborhood and ensure that new and remodeled homes and boat docks comply with the requirements set out in our deed restrictions.
